Code of Ethics
The Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services believes that, as an organization serving the A/E/C industry in the Greater Philadelphia region, it is our responsibility to promote a business environment that values integrity, collaboration, education and the nurturing of productive business opportunities for our members. It is expected that the members of our Chapter will abide by the following Code of Ethics:
- Our members will maintain and advance their knowledge of professional services marketing, respect the body of marketing knowledge, and contribute to its growth.
- Our members promise to continually seek to raise the standards of excellence in professional services marketing.
- Our members will pursue professional activities with honesty and fairness, demonstrate the highest standard of personal conduct, and actively encourage the highest level of ethical standards within the profession.
- Our members will practice in a manner that supports the rights of employers, employees, and clients and will not discriminate because of race, sex, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Our members recognize their respective responsibilities to uphold all laws and regulations relating to their firm's policies and activities.
- Our members promise to be loyal to the firm that employs them, and pursue its objectives in ways that are consistent with the public interest.
