Involvement with a committee is the best way to get the most out of your SMPS membership while becoming acquainted with other members. While providing a service to others, committee involvement is the perfect opportunity to promote your firm, gain leadership skills, and advance in your career. In addition, committee work is fun and rewarding!

Programs
The program committee is responsible for organizing industry specific programs and events involving industry leaders and public officials.

Sponsorship
The Sponsorship Committee members solicit sponsorship for our organization through opportunities with our monthly and educational programs, Holiday Bash, and End of the Year Bash. Committee members also coordinate with the Conference Committee to obtain conference sponsorships.

Membership
The Membership Committee maintains and enrolls new members in the SMPS chapter, handles program registration, and works closely with SMPS national.

Public Relations
The goal of the PR Committee it to increase the awareness of the SMPS Philadelphia Programs. The committee is responsible for sending out press releases and meeting notices, and maintaining a media list.

Outreach
SMPS Philly is proud to introduce its Outreach Committee, brand new to the Chapter in 2010. The Committee’s goal is to keep SMPS Philly on the pulse of Philadelphia’s A/E/C industry organizations, expand our chapter’s reach and increase networking and educational opportunities for its members. The committee also concentrates on partnering with community and charitable organizations in an effort to give back to our community.

Website
The website chair is responsible for updating and maintenance of our chapter website, keeping it up to date each month with changes and relevant program information.

Communications
The communications chair is responsible for all content and information into cvent to provide valuable email correspondence with our mailing list of contacts. These emails advertise each month's program and meetings, allowing people to register online.

Logistics
The logistics chair is responsible for coordinating all venue communications for every meeting, ensuring that everything is ready to go with AV, food, etc.
